Compared to the buil in dark themes Dark Nimbus and Dark Metal, its immediately clear how much easier is to see the code and how much more relaxing is coding If you compare this with the Norway Today profile used by Dark Nimbus and Dark Metal it looks like Norway Today has colours choosen by a random generator whereas Darcula has colors matching the same tone and this is proven very less confusing to the eyes. I must say its a nice improvement over Dark Metal LAF and Norway Today font color profile. My only complaint so far is in the SQL editor when using code completion when working with queries, the drop down list popup contains low contrast colors for DB table field names dark background with dark blue font color for items not currently selected in the list.
